Introduction To Sound

This lesson we were introduced to how producers and editors make use of sound in thriller films. I enjoyed this lesson as we got to fiddle with different sounds. We sequenced sound in scenes from the 'Quantum of Solace'. We were given the sounds used in each clip and had to place the correct sound in the correct place, for example a car rushing towards the right side of the screen, the sound would then need to be placed on the right hand side of the screen. We then had to edit our final piece again and add our own sound effects. I had used a different background sound along with other sound effects.
